Step back in time and travel by steam train on Scotland's newest scenic rail route this August as special Sunday steam train trips operate along the Borders Railway.

Each Sunday in August, vintage train carriages, hauled by one of the Black Five locomotives will depart Linlithgow, West Lothian, travelling north over the Forth Road Bridge for a trip round the Fife coast before heading south on the Borders Railway to Tweedbank.

You can enjoy more than two hours in the Scottish Borders before the return journey and can take advantage of visiting some of the region's towns and visitors attractions.
