Stobhill Master Plan Meeting

Local people are invited to have their say on an initial master plan for the potential redevelopment of the Stobhill Depot and part of the Lady Victoria Business Centre in Newtongrange.

Residents can drop in to the public event at the National Mining Museum Scotland on Thursday 15th June anytime between 14:00 and 20:00.

Commissioned by Midlothian Council and Borders Railway Blueprint Partnership, the design team of Smith Scott Mullan will be on hand to chat about the benefits the master plan could bring to the area.

A spokesperson for Midlothian Council said:

"Communities will be consulted to make sure the master plan takes into account local opinions and ideas. We all share the same goal and that's to eventually have a master plan that will help ensure a thriving, attractive neighborhood and successful businesses. We'd urge as many local people as possible to drop in and tell us what they think so we can capture a wide range of views as possible.
