Scottish Borders Walking Festival

The Scottish Borders Walking Festival returns on 4th September 2016 with 6 walks in 6 days that cover the whole of St Cuthbert's Way.  For the festival walks have been graded as easy, moderate, fairly strenuous and strenuous. 

Some of the walking routes include: 

  • A guided tour of Flodden on the commemoration day of the infamous battle, taking in a potential escape route used by Scottish soldiers. 
  • Berwickshire coast routes
  • Walks in the Cheviot Hills 
  • Cross Border Trails 

Social events are planned for each evening which make the festival perfect for family days out!
