Scotland Is Now - a new marketing campaign to promote Scotland on a world stage has launched. It aims to attract more migrant talent, international students and high-spending tourists to help grow the country’s economy and cement its reputation as an open, diverse and welcoming country.
It’s the first ever joint initiative between the Scottish Government, VisitScotland, Scottish Development International and Universities Scotland.
Major selling points will include the number of world-leading universities Scotland boasts (which include Edinburgh, Napier, Heriot-Watt and Queen Margaret along the Borders Railway corridor), as well Edinburgh’s status as the UK’s second largest financial services hub and its high international quality of life ratings.
