REMAINING BORDERS RAILWAY WORKS PLANNED DURING DRIVER TRAINING BREAK
The Borders Railway team will complete the remaining line-side construction works during the following four days 16-19 July during a short break in ScotRail’s driver training.
Work includes installation of fencing, telecoms, some minor earth works, lighting and drainage.
While most of the work will take place between 8am and 7pm, some additional, low impact works may be required out of ordinary hours.
Hugh Wark, Network Rail Project Director for Borders Railway said:
“This is our last remaining window to complete line-side works, so this weekend will see us carrying out a short but concentrated programme of activity. We do not anticipate significant evening works but apologise in advance for any disturbance.”
