Borders Railway to Host Stow Community Drop-In

The Stow community will have the chance to hear about the latest construction plans for the area at a community drop-in meeting hosted by the Borders Railway team in the town next month.

Taking place on Wednesday 11 June, the event will also provide members of the community with an opportunity to find out more about the construction of Stow station. Borders Railway staff will be on hand to answer any queries, while there will also be up-to-date photos and maps and plans available to look at.

The meeting will be held at StowPrimary School from 3:30pm – 7pm.

Craig Bowman, senior communications manager, Network Rail, said: “Work will soon begin on the construction of the new station at Stow. This meeting gives people a chance to find out more about what this will entail, as well as what other activity is planned for the town and surrounding areas.”
